ATTRACTION

Love and...

Potions
Love potions probably don't work, but people have made them for thousands of years. Unfortunately, they don't always think about the consequences. The ingredients of love potions often include parts of exotic aimals. Sadly, some animals, for example, tigers and rhinos, are still hunted for these ingredients. Hunting has become a serious problem for these animals. They're now in danger of extinction.

Marriage
In some parts of the world, it is traditional for people to get married when they are very young. Arrenged marriages, where parents choose partners for their children are alson common in some cultures.
In other cultures, people choose their own partners. In fact some people choose again and again. One American, Glynn Wolfe, married 28 times, and his last wife, Linda Essex-Wolfe, married 23 times. Of course, they are very unusual. Curiosly, divorce is less frequent in countries where there are arranged marriages. This is probably because there are stricter tradicions.
                                                                                        Kisses
Are you more interested in love or in money? In the academy of fine arts in Ravenna, Italy, there is a statue of a brave Italian soldier called Guidarello Guidarelli. A superstition says that a woman who kisses the statue will marry a rinch man. Tullio Lombardo made the statue in 1525, and over the years, many woman have kissed it. People from Ravenna estimate that the statue has had over pour million kisses. As a consequence, the soldier's lips are now pink.
